History

1983
NEC Corporation (Japan) Co., Ltd., has established a calibration company in Yokohama City to support the calibration work in NEC group companies, and the Company was later separated as NEC Factory Engineering Japan Ltd., and has become the Number-One calibration laboratory in Japan.

1993
The Company has been accredited under ISO9000 Standard by JQA of Japan.

1999
The Company has expanded its base to Thailand by establishing the first overseas calibration branch under the name of NEC Communication Systems (Thailand) Co., Ltd., at the Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate in Pathum Thani Province.

2001
The Company has been accredited under ISO9001 Standard by JQA and has started to use ISO/IEC Guide 25 Quality System for upgrading the Laboratory to be equivalent to an international standard.

2002
The Company has been accredited for the laboratory abilities under ISO/IEC Guide 25 Standard by the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) in the scope of dimension for the first time (Accreditation No.0022).

2003
The Company has been upgraded to ISO/IEC17025:1999 Standard and has extended the scope of calibration covering the dimension and electricity.

2006
The Company has been merged with NEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and was renamed to NEC Corporation (Thailand) Ltd. Whereby, the Calibration Unit has still been operating continuously in the capacity of a business unit of the Company.

2007
The Company has upgraded the quality system to the version of ISO/IEC17025:2005 and has additionally extended the scope of calibration covering the temperature.

2008
- The Company has relocated the Laboratory from the Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate to MMC Factory (Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province) to support the business expansion and the increasing number of employees.
- The Company has been additionally accredited in the scope of mechanical, radio frequencies (RF) and microwave.

2016
- It has been the important turning point when NEC Group has adjusted its business policy. As a result, on 15th June 2016, all calibration service and measuring device distribution businesses were transferred to NA Caltechnologies Co., Ltd.
- This change covers the transfer of assets, standard tools, expert personnel and all management systems to ensure that customers will receive the same quality of services under the Japanese standard.

2018-Present
The Company has been growing with over 100 personnel and has extended its service provision covering calibration, trading and robotics & SI.
Certificates Received
Our laboratory has been operating continuously and has been accredited with the laboratory management system under the ISO/IEC17025 Standard by two accreditation agencies (ONSC and ANAB) for several aspects of calibration such as electrical calibration, microwave signals and radio frequencies, temperature, moisture, dimension, environment, chemistry, mechanics. The laboratory accreditation from both agencies covers internal and on-site calibration at workplaces of customers in Thailand, and we are ready to provide the calibration service for ASEAN countries.
